HKA's strict policy precludes undertaking, or discussing the possibility of undertaking, work of any kind for any individual or entity (“Party”) that seeks or attempts to violate or otherwise unlawfully circumvent any restrictions which may apply to such Party or any other Party, under applicable national law or the laws of another state, including, but not restricted to, national security restrictions, export controls and international treaties, including but by no means limited to, the Wassenaar Arrangement. It is the responsibility of clients and potential clients to ensure compliance with their domestic and international obligations, and continued communication, regarding project work, with HKA and/or its representative(s), employees or agents, constitutes an acknowledgment of this policy and a binding warranty and commitment by the sender to HKA, its directors, its component entities, officers, associates employees and beneficial owner(s), if any, to the effect that no such activity is attempted, or otherwise involved.
